Embracing the Body of Christ

One of the ways in which we know we have truly tapped into the divine is when Jesus becomes the object and source of our love. As a result we will have a healthier relation and love towards others. When Jesus becomes the source and object of our affection, we embrace His body.To declare love is not always romantic.

Sadly, love is constantly being limited to romanticism.

To declare love is to see through the eyes of God – to see how precious His people are.

To declare the love of God is to see through the eyes of a loving Father.

To declare the love of God is to see that His people are to die for – which is why He sent His Son to die for all.

The invitation into divine union and partnership with God brings us into an extended family beyond our own homes.

Everyone is born into a family. Because of sin, the dysfunctions of some families are truly painful and damaging. Therefore God causes us to be Born Again into a new family.

It is the family of God, the body of Christ and it has members all around the world.

It is nearly impossible to discover the full intent of the love of God without relating to His people.

There is a beauty in solitude – one where the individual and the Creator share intimately. In our private encounters in discovering the love of God, God directs our hearts to His people.

“If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”
