The Word was first settled in heaven before it became flesh on earth. After it became flesh, it was crucified, resurrected, ascended and as it stands it is once again settled in heaven.
Everything settled in heaven is forever. The word is settled in heaven therefore we are to set our mind on the things above, acquiring knowledge from above through the word. The Spirit of God then sheds light on the knowledge we acquire. It so happens that the word is not like the kind of words we are familiar with naturally. It transcends human understanding – it carries power for performance.
Heavens eternal vocabulary has been compressed into a two thousand-paged book. It’s time to allow the Spirit of God to decompress and open it up to us in light of His glory and wisdom. The Spirit of God is on an eternal quest to search and discover the deep things of God and He longs to share His discovery with us.
We seek information from academics, critiques, journalists, media and books. Only a few are daring enough to want and to search, to chase and to acquire knowledge of God. Knowing Him in the purity of His love and mercy is more than sufficient – it is absolutely beautiful and it is an honour. So then what is the word?
The word is for life.
The word counsels.
The word strengthens.
The word edifies.
The word directs.
The word enlarges the capacity of the heart.
The word brings honour.
The word is a judge.
The word saves.
The word comforts.
The word is life.
The word is spirit.
The word is excellent knowledge.
The word is wisdom.
The word is more valuable than gold and silver.
The word is a treasure.
The gems of life are hidden like a treasure in the word, awaiting discovery. Discovering the hidden treasures requires persistent pursuit. Every word released from heaven runs swiftly. The wind blows, the waters flow, God has declared His word yet we have not known. Nonetheless, God is saying:
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” – Isaiah 55:10-11
Every word released from the mouth of God will surely come to pass.
